FAQ - Diesel Generator Sets

Q: Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer with our own export team. All diesel generator sets are assembled and tested in our own factory, while our in-house trading department handles international inquiries, contracts, and shipping directly.
🏭 How We Operate
  • Production: Generator bodies, control panels, canopy fabrication, and load testing are done in-house
  • Engine sourcing: We install genuine Cummins, Perkins, Yuchai, Weichai, etc., with original brand warranty
  • Export: Our own foreign trade team manages documentation, inspection, and logistics — no external agent
✅ What This Means for You
  • Factory-direct pricing — no trader margin added
  • Strict QC — every genset passes 2-hour no-load + load test before shipment
  • Faster response — engineering and sales under one roof
  • OEM/ODM supported — voltage, frequency, canopy, ATS, parallel system customizable

🌍 We export directly to Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America, and Europe.

✅ In short: We are a direct factory with our own export department — you deal with the maker, not a middleman. Better price, better control, better after-sales.

Q: Can you provide on-site installation and commissioning?
Yes, we can provide on-site installation and commissioning for most of our equipment and system products, subject to project scope, destination country, and mutual agreement in the contract.
🔧 How We Handle It
  • For complex machinery, production lines, or electrical systems, we can send engineers to your site to handle unloading guidance, mechanical/electrical installation, alignment, wiring check, and first-run commissioning.
Scope typically included:
  • Installation supervision
  • Mechanical & electrical connection guidance
  • Calibration and parameter setting
  • Trial run and performance testing
  • Operator training (basic operation & daily maintenance)
Scope typically excluded (unless quoted separately):
  • Civil works, foundation construction, crane rental
  • Local labor, scaffolding, power supply beyond equipment interface
  • Long-term resident engineers (available on monthly basis if required)
✈️ Logistics & Cost
Engineer dispatch is usually not included in EXW/FOB price by default. It can be quoted as a separate line item: Supervision & Commissioning Service, covering:
  • Round-trip air tickets
  • Visa & local transportation
  • Accommodation (or client provides)
  • Daily service fee (USD/day)
For DDP / turnkey projects, on-site service can be bundled into the total project price. For simpler machines, we may provide video guidance + detailed manuals + 3D installation videos instead, which is faster and cost-free.
🌍 Regional Note
We have experience dispatching engineers to Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. For regions requiring work permits or security approvals, please allow a lead time of 2–4 weeks for visa and travel arrangements.
💡 When requesting a quotation, please let us know:
  • Machine model / project scale
  • Destination country & site readiness (power, foundation, local labor)
  • Whether you prefer full on-site service or remote guidance only

✅ In short: Yes, on-site installation & commissioning is available for qualified equipment. It is optional and quotable separately under FOB/CIF, or bundled into turnkey/DDP projects upon request.

Q: How about the fuel consumption of your diesel generator sets?
The fuel consumption of our diesel generator sets depends on the rated power, engine brand, load rate, and whether the unit is prime or standby rated. As a general reference for most of our Cummins, Perkins, Yuchai, or Weichai powered generators, typical consumption at full load ranges from 190 g/kWh to 215 g/kWh (heat value based), which translates roughly to 0.25 – 0.32 L/kW·h at 100% load.
⛽ Reference Table (Approximate, Diesel Density ~0.84 kg/L)
  • 10 kW set: ~2.6 – 3.2 L/h at full load
  • 50 kW set: ~13 – 16 L/h at full load
  • 100 kW set: ~25 – 31 L/h at full load
  • 200 kW set: ~50 – 62 L/h at full load
  • 500 kW set: ~125 – 155 L/h at full load
  • 1000 kW set: ~250 – 310 L/h at full load
📉 Load-Based Consumption Curve
Diesel gensets are not linear; actual burn rate by load:
  • 25% load: ~0.30 L/kW·h equivalent (high specific consumption)
  • 50% load: ~0.27 L/kW·h
  • 75% load: ~0.25 L/kW·h
  • 100% load: ~0.25 – 0.32 L/kW·h depending on engine
→ Most economical operating zone is 70% – 80% of rated power.
🔧 What Affects Consumption
  • Engine tech: Electronic injection < mechanical injection
  • Altitude & ambient temp: High altitude or >40°C reduces air density, raises fuel use
  • Maintenance status: Clogged filters, bad injectors increase burn by 5%–15%
  • Fuel quality: Low calorific value diesel raises L/h
  • Governor type: Electronic governor stabilizes consumption better
📊 How We Quote It
Each quotation includes a Fuel Consumption Sheet stating:
  • Genset model & prime/standby power
  • L/h at 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% load
  • Tank capacity & estimated run time at full load
  • Optional enlarged base tank or external daily tank sizing
💡 To get an accurate number, tell us:
  • Required kW / kVA (prime or standby?)
  • Expected average load percentage in your application
  • Daily running hours (continuous / emergency only)
  • Diesel grade used locally

✅ In short: Fuel use is model-specific, but you can expect about 0.25–0.32 liters per kWh at full load, lower per-kWh at 70–80% load. We provide a load-based consumption table with every offer so you can calculate running cost before purchase.
