Diesel Generator Buying Guide
A working guide for importers, distributors and project buyers: how to size the set, choose the enclosure and engine, check the supplier before you pay, and agree terms that protect your money. 125 kVA to 3000 kVA, built in our own plant in Hunan, China.
Start Here: Four Steps to Specify Your Set
1 Work out the load, not the price
Add up the running kW, then allow for starting current on motor loads and pick a prime or standby rating with headroom. Getting this wrong is the most expensive mistake in the whole project — it either overloads the set or buys you capacity you never use.
2 Choose the type and enclosure
Open frame for indoor plant rooms and budget projects. Sound-attenuated canopy where noise matters — hospitals, hotels, residential. Containerised where you need weather protection, offshore transport or easy expansion. Trailer-mounted when the set has to move between sites.
3 Pick the engine
Cummins, Perkins, Yuchai and Shangchai cover the range we build. Yuchai and Shangchai deliver the best value in the 125–2000 kVA band and have parts networks across Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Cummins and Perkins suit tenders and projects where the brand is written into the specification.
4 Verify the supplier before you pay
Every generator looks the same in a catalogue photo. What separates a factory from a trading desk is what you can inspect: the production line, the load bank, the test reports, the certificates, and whether the name on the invoice matches the name on the certificate.

Browse by Application
Each solution page sets out the configuration, enclosure and controls we normally specify for that environment.
Certification and Quality You Can Verify
CE attestation of conformity
Issued by UDEM, covering Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. Certificate number M.2024.206.C109943, valid until 19 November 2029, covering 10 product series. Verifiable at udem.com.tr.
ISO 9001:2015 · ISO 14001:2015 · ISO 45001:2018
Quality, environmental and occupational health & safety management systems, certified with IAF and CNAS accreditation and valid until 29 August 2027.
2000 kW full-load test
Every set is run on our own load bank before it leaves the plant — not a sample unit, the unit you ordered. How load bank testing works.
Independent supplier audit
An 18-page SGS supplier audit report and multiple utility patents back up the paperwork. Read about the plant.
After Delivery: Keeping the Set Running
The service information buyers ask for most, before and after the order.
Tell Us What You Need
Send the kVA range, the application and the destination port. We will come back with the models that fit, factory terms and lead time. If you are comparing suppliers, ask us the questions you are asking them — including for the test report and certificate numbers.
Power ratings, certification status and product series are stated as of the date of this page. Certification applies to the series and scope named in each certificate; buyers should confirm the exact certificate against their own project requirement. This guide is general information for buyers and is not a substitute for a project-specific technical offer.
